Flaking Mills & Rolled Cereals
Through the mechanical treatment grains are flatten and reduced into flakes by a rolling mill composed by two rollers, one fixed and one moving.
The distance regulation between the two rollers sets the desired thickness of the flakes.
A next-generation electronic system driven by a PLC permits to obtain a millimetric precision of the flake thickness and a more accurate control of the working plant.
The feed mill structure is particularly dimensioned, considering the high working stress.
